AFC Wimbledon will host Reading at the Cherry Red Records Stadium on Saturday 22 August 2026, with kickoff at 15:00 BST. This is the Dons’ first home match of the 2026/27 season and the venue is nearly sold out - only a very limited number of tickets remain.
Ticketing & Access
Tickets can be purchased online or at the Ticket Office (open 11:00 BST until just after kick-off, then until 18:00 BST). Season-ticket card holders who opted for the postage option can email tickets@afcwimbledon.ltd.uk with subject ‘Reading’ if they have not received their card. DonsTix users will find all tickets injected into the app; if a ticket is missing, the same email address should be used.

Travellers should note scheduled closures on the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Piccadilly, Mildmay and Waterloo & City lines, and that the Alexandra Road / Wimbledon Stn Stop A is closed. Food, Drink & Reusable Cup Scheme
All home general admission bars will charge £5 for beer; the Phoenix Pub offers a Happy Hour promotion. Tap and canned drinks include Plough Lane Ale, Wimbledon Lager, Kopparberg, Guinness, Alcohol-Free San Miguel, Gluten-Free San Miguel and a new-for-season SW19 Blonde Ale. The Phoenix Pub and 1889 Lounge also serve Guinness 0.0, Thatcher’s Gold 500 ml and Old Mout Pineapple & Raspberry 500 ml ciders. A reusable beer-cup scheme replaces all single-use plastic pint cups; finished cups must be disposed of in the designated bins.
Club Shop, Museum & Hospitality
The Club Shop and Museum are open 11:00-15:00 BST, then at half-time and until 18:00 BST. Hospitality lounges open at 12:00 BST, with the 1889 Lounge hosting six former Dons - Dave Beasant, Kevin Gage, Mick Smith, Tony Tagg, Steve Ketteridge and Paul Fishenden - who will be interviewed by Tom Large from 14:15 BST. A player appearance in the Family Zone is scheduled between 14:15 and 14:45 BST.
Family-Friendly Facilities
General Admission areas allow buggies to be stored in Cycle Storage on Greyhound Parade (12:00-18:00 BST) or at Cinch Storage (666 Garratt Ln, 12:00-19:00 BST). Hospitality areas permit buggies. Wristbands with emergency contact details are available at search desks for children or vulnerable adults. First-time fan certificates can be requested via a form and will be hand-delivered.
Programme & Bag Policy
The freshly rebranded matchday programme is 80 pages long, priced at £4, and the second issue features an interview with summer signing Jayden Stockley. Bag dimensions are capped at 40 cm × 30 cm × 15 cm (16 in × 12 in × 6 in); medical exemptions are available by email. All bags will be searched upon entry.
